August is a very particular month of the year in Paris, it is hard not to notice it: life is getting so slow, the city is empty, cafes, bakeries and shops are closing for annual vacation and a half of the city is leaving for the holidays (making room for the tourists!). Therefore, looking back, I, at first, had the impression that August was malleable and boring. But! Again, thanks to my new habit of having a monthly film diary, it turned out that August was eventful, with lot of traveling and meetings: I managed to spend some time off in both Paris and St. Tropez in the South of France, back to Paris again for 3 days to catch up with my dearest friend Nastya before heading to see my family in Russia for the last 1,5 weeks of August. I spent as much as 2 film rolls (I shot an entire one in Russia); this time I used Fuji Superia 400 (in France) and Kodak Portra 160 (in Russia). There are also a couple of pictures shot on film by Nastya, she used a different film.

Август особенный месяц в году в Париже, особенность эту сложно не заметить: жизнь замедляется максимально, город пустеет, кафе-булочные-магазины закрываются и пол города уезжает на каникулы. Поэтому, оглядываясь назад, у меня создается впечатление, что август был тягучий и скучный. Но! Опять же, благодаря моей новой привычке вести пленочный ежемесячный дневник, оказалось, что август был насыщенный на события, путешествия и встречи: я успела побывать и в Париже, и в Сан-Тропе на юге, снова в Париже с моей подругой Настей и последние дни августа провела в Калининграде с семьей. Я истратила аж 2 пленки (1 полностью на поездку домой) и поэтому этот пост разделю на несколько хронологический частей. В августе я снимала во Франции на пленку Fuji Superia 400, в России пробовала новую для меня Kodak Portra 160. Также несколько фото для этого поста я взяла у Насти.
