Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 (+ map)

Since the cold weather is slowly but surely getting back to Paris the best way to keep up warm & motivated is to have a cup of coffee/tea from time to time. Today more and more nice places serving really good coffee are open in Paris so I decided to update my coffee map created a year ago with the places I discovered recently. The main update is that today the wave of nice coffee places finally reached the left bank!  Le Marais is no longer the only area in Paris where we can get a decent coffee. Another good thing is that most of these places are vegan/vegetarian friendly: you will definitely find vegetable milk and yummy plant based plates!

In order to create this map, my criteria were mainly: good coffee, good interior, good carte of desserts/dishes, nice people on the counter (...ok-ok. and that cute little milk heart in your cappuccino they call latte art).

Regarding the map itself: to get a map follow the link in the end of the post, make sure to save it in Your Places in Google Map free app to use it whenever you need. I use it every time I need to find something nice around me.

And last but not least: always check the opening hours before going there, some places are closed on Sundays/Mondays.

Telescope, 5 Rue Villedo, 75001 Paris

Place open only on weekdays. Love banana bread there!Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 by pariswithme.com

Sunday in Soho, 7 Rue Saint-Marc, 75002 Paris

Opened a couple of months ago, really cute place with huge cart of sandwiches, salads. I particularly love (oops, again) banana bread there: they put 2 or 3 slices with ricotta and seasonal berries. Really good!

Matamata, 58 rue d’Argout, 75002 Paris

Good coffee and avocado toast.

Fragments 76 Rue des Tournelles, 75003 Paris

Hidden in a small street, this coffee shop was the first one I visited in Paris. Here started my great love for the quality coffee. Cool interior, pretty raw wood tables and delicious coffee prepared from the Cafes de Belleville beans.

Ob-la-di 54 Rue de Saintonge, 75003 Paris

Opened in 2015, Ob-la-di is one of the Parisian iconic coffeeshops. Since the very first day it was doomed for success: beautiful design of mix of marble and woods, bright and photogenic blue/white tiling, great music and smiling baristas on the counter. Without speaking of a choice of a great coffees and bio snacks (avocado toasts, granolas and not so bio but still delicious donuts)

Neighbours 89 Boulevard Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris

For a quick stop for coffee (never tried anything else there but the pastries are handmade and look goooood!)Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 by pariswithme.com

Boot Cafe 19 Rue du Pont aux Choux, 75003 Paris

Tiny coffee shop (of only 4 square meters), hidden under the sign of an old shoe repair (Coordonerie) is remains a great place for coffee lovers. There tons of magazines, smiling baristas and large windows to look at the passers by.

Merci Used book cafe, 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris

Nice cafe where the endless bookshelves are placed instead of the walls. The cafe smoothly transforms into a concept store.

Cafe Berry, 10 Rue Chapon, 75003 Paris

This place is on my list, never been there before (but kind of like their Instagram)

La Cafeotheque, 52 rue de l`Hotel-de-Ville, 75004 Paris

Legendary place opened its doors in 2001, marking the beginning of a coffee revolution in Paris. The first one to pay a lot of attention to the quality of beans, the roasting process and preparation. In La Cafeotheque you could also assist the degustations, or even trainings for coffee professionals. Many famous Parisian baristas start their career here.

Nice place, good coffee, good pastries.

Buvette Paris, 28 Rue Henry Monnier, 75009 Paris

Caoua Coffee Stop 98, quai de Jemmapes, 75010 Paris & 06, bd de Belleville 75020 Paris

I've only been on the first address in 75010: beautiful place overlooking the Canal St Martin.

La Fontaine de Belleville, 31- 33 Rue Juliette Dodu, 75010 Paris

Opened by the dreamteam of famous Parisian coffee roaster Cafes de Belleville. Under the brand Cafes de Belleville these guys produce several sorts of coffee, collaborate with a large number of the most hip coffee shops of Paris and recently they opened their own place - La Fontaine de Belleville. They do have a terrace (not all the coffee shops do) to enjoy the sun with the cup of a great coffee. The owners kept the old fashioned authentic French cafe decor inside and outside.

Ten belles, 10 Rue de la Grange aux Belles, 75010 Paris

Ten Belles is a favorite place for many. It is located very close to Saint-Martin in a picturesque street, surrounded by flower shops. It is nice that you can have your cup of coffee, both inside and outside. Here you can also buy the coffee grain for home, coffee cups with the Ten Belles logo and other little nice staff as a souvenir.

Cafe Oberkampf , 3 Rue Neuve Popincourt, 75011 Paris

Take a place by the window with one of many hip magazines while waiting for your coffee. Coffee is really good & they also serve  delicious homemade avocado toast, seasonal cream soups and Shakshuka.

Passager, 107 Avenue Ledru-Rollin, 75011 Paris

The light is pure magic in this place as well as their pancakes and coffee. Love be back to Passager, makes me nostalgic of times I lived in this area.Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 by pariswithme.com

Wild & The Moon, 138 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris (my favorite), all addresses here

If you follow my Stories you probably noticed that recently I come back there almost too often. Wild & The Moon is largely spread chain all over Paris, they are plant-based, plastic and gluten free place (all those fancy words) and they are really really good! I come there for a Blue Magic (granola) Bowl, coco macaron (😋) and coffee of course!

Good News Coffee, 27 bis Rue Mademoiselle, 75015 Paris

Apparently, another good spot in 15th arrondissement (happy to see that there are more and more cool places that are open in this part of Paris). Still on my list, never been there.

Cravan, 17 rue Jean de la Fontaine, 75016

This place is on my list as well: once I finally made it there but it was closed with for no reason (normally it is open 7/7)...

Dose Dealer de Cafe, 82 Place du Dr Félix Lobligeois, 75017 Paris & 73 Rue Mouffetard, 75005 Paris

Until recently Dose was one of my most favorite places for coffee in Paris: I lived in 17th arr. and often spent my mornings with my large cup of creamiest latte. The second address (rue Mouffetard) I like a little less I don't know why...Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 by pariswithme.com

Soul Kitchen, 33 Rue Lamarck, 75018 Paris

Good place that serves good coffee and food all day long.

Cuillier, 19 Rue Yvonne le Tac 75018 & 68 Rue de Grenelle 75007 & 85 Rue Montmartre 75002 & 16 Rue Dupetit-Thouars 75003

Amazingly creamy large latte and yummi pastries!Best Coffee in Paris Vol.2 by pariswithme.com

Cafe Lomi, 3 ter rue Marcadet, 75018 Paris

Cafe Lomi first of all is the coffee roaster supplying its high quality grain to many Parisian cafes. Today, it is also a pretty café (but still a decent part of it  assigned to the coffee roasting). Cafe Lomi is located far from the center of Paris, not in the best part of Montmartre the area called Goutte d'Or, but it is absolutely worth a visit: warm cozy interior, large windows, delicate cups and plates help to make Cafe Lomi a perfect place for morning coffee, brunch or even a working afternoon with computer.

Flea - curiosity & coffee, 7 Rue Voltaire, 93400 Saint-Ouen

This address is for those good coffee addicts who made it to the largest European flea market (Marche Aux Puces St Ouen). Small but cute place just in a couple of steps from the flea market, they serve good coffee but also sell lots of pretty old stuff.Look from photo: Velvet Skirt Lost + Wander via Shopbop, sweater &Other Stories, boots Mint&Rose, bag Tara Jarmon
